About the event
The location of the food distribution is in Center Mall, inside the Paley Gates. If you enter from Thunderbird and 47th Ave., the distribution is straight ahead on 47th Ave.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. As a volunteer at this event, please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing that you could get a little dirty. Bring water with you.
When you arrive at the event, check in at the front table, sign in and fill out a name tag. The lead of the event will instruct you on next steps. Shift options:
11am-1:30pm: food will be dropped off at some point in this time range, and will need to be quickly inspected to ensure quality then can be organized on the tables.
1pm-3:30pm: pass out food to students, staff and faculty from 1-3pm then assist in cleaning up from 3-3:30pm.
You can sign up for both shifts as available. Anyone that comes for food will get fresh produce, a bread item, beverage and other non-perishable. St. Mary's will provide enough food for at least 150 people. Throughout the distribution, there may be a need to breakdown boxes and clean up as we go.
